If Santa Ana is on your list of places to visit in the US this coming year, it will be best to prepare ahead for that trip by planning your activities as early as now. For a start, make sure that your itinerary includes the following attractions and activities to make your visit, no matter how short it may be, fun and enjoyable to make you want to come back for more of Santa Ana.
Places to See
Discovery Science Center – This is popularly known as “The Cube” because of its shape, which is actually made of solar panels that generate the electricity used by the museum. Featured here are skeletal remains of dinosaurs and other science exhibits. The most interesting would be the Shake Shack, which gives a simulation of how a 6.4 magnitude earthquake feels like.
Heritage Museum of Orange Country – Give yourself an educational experience in this museum, which features displays related to the history of California. Do not forget to visit the historic plaza in it, where 19th century buildings are found to give you a first-hand feel of how life was centuries ago.
Santa Ana Zoo – Fifty monkeys are a mainstay in this zoo, as requested by its founder and honored until now. Enjoy an educational trip here alone or with your entire family.
Things to Do
Art Walk – You can visit the Artist Village in Spurgeon Street or the Santiago Art District to get your fill of crafts and arts from the many galleries and shops that line these districts.
Play Golf – Going on vacation does not mean that you have to sacrifice your favorite sports. Visit the River View Golf Course for an afternoon of game and show the locals your expertise.
Go Mountain Hiking – There are plenty of trails that you can follow along the Santa Ana Mountains. The best time to do this is in the spring or late fall. So, gear up and be ready for some outdoor fun.
